PRIMARY CARE TRAINING ENHANCEMENT
The USA Family Medicine (PCTE) Primary Care Training Enhancement initiative is focused on providing medical students, residents, and inter-professional healthcare team members with learning experiences that broaden their understanding about emerging trends in the practice of Family Medicine and primary care, specifically the overarching paradigm of Population Health Sciences. The training and education enhancements offered to learners in this curriculum broadens their medical knowledge and exercises their ability to practice with a more precise level of patient care. In our teaching and learning environment, students are assigned to one of five learning levels. Student assignments are made by program coordinator(s) who coordinate the learning levels, accordingly. Provided below the learner levels are arranged by tabs. You may click on the one that relates to you to see a brief description for that level of learning, as well as download a syllabus and directions for completing assignments.
